Last week, the Norwegian Datacenter Industry (NDI) organized its regular membership meeting at Statkraft’s offices in Lysaker, Oslo. This gathering brought together the brightest minds and leading players in the field of datacenter technology and innovation. Among the industry giants, we had the privilege of participating in the conversation for the first time in this forum. As a new addition to the NDI family, with our role as a data center technology developer, we were delighted for the opportunity.
Our interactions ranged from technical exchanges to strategic discussions, with each conversation enriching our perspective and expanding our knowledge base. The open sharing of experiences and best practices underscored the opportunities within the industry, emphasizing the importance of our collective progress in addressing the global challenges of data management and energy efficiency.
On March 14th, we also attended the Datacenter Forum Oslo 2024 conference. The discussions and insights gained from other companies, vendors, and stakeholders have provided us with a wealth of knowledge and new ideas. One particular highlight was Diederik Samsom, Former Chief of Staff at the European Commission on Climate Action, who spoke about “The European Green Deal: Transforming the Nordics Into the Sustainable Digital Backbone of Europe,” outlining the challenges and responsibilities faced by industry leaders. We also want to commend Erik Gjesdal’s presentation on behalf of Schneider Electric, where he discussed challenges and guidelines for data center AI disruption. These speakers truly inspired and impressed at the event. This experience has not only strengthened our resolve but also sharpened our vision for the future of data center technology.

Energized by the encouragement and insights gained, we are eager to return to our work, applying the lessons learned to our ongoing projects. The conference has only reinforced our commitment to contributing to the evolution of the datacenter industry. With this newfound knowledge and experience in our arsenal, we look forward to making our mark and driving sustainable innovation in the digital infrastructure space.
As we continue on this journey, we remain humble yet optimistic about the future. We are excited to grow, innovate, and collaborate with our peers in the industry, contributing to a more sustainable and efficient digital world. The road ahead holds promise, and we are prepared to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, guided by the experiences and lessons that have enriched us at these pivotal events.
