Out of three finalists, Orca Connex secured victory in this year’s Sustainable Business Idea Competition. This achievement awarded the company a total prize of 150,000 NOK.
The final showdown took place at the Skybar in Radisson Caledonien Hotel, Kristiansand, as part of this year’s Techpoint Conference on September 14th. DNB co-hosted this segment of the conference program, which was aptly named ‘DNB NXT / Sustainable Business Idea.’
In the final, Orca Connex faced strong competition from OceanEnvi and Digmalink, with the former ultimately emerging as the winner. The prize, totaling 150,000 NOK, can be used for office rental, business development, and relevant conferences – valuable resources for a startup company.
Gunnar Stavrum, Editor-in-Chief and CEO of KRS and Nettavisen, served as the emcee for the event, which featured several captivating presentations from speakers like Maria Archontoulis, Head of Startup Partnerships at DNB; Preben Songe-Møller, Partner at Skyfall Ventures; Rolf Assev, Partner at Startuplab; and Arne Eivind Andersen, Founder and CEO of Sharebox.
Orca Connex expresses gratitude for the support received and eagerly anticipates the road ahead. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re interested in discussing potential collaborations or simply wish to have a conversation about orcas.
